MQS QM.AID is more than a microscope
MQS QM.AID is a digital microscope, which besides its great microscopy capabilities it ensures a real-time digital data flow and the quality of both the product and the human inspection by integrating neural network-based Computer Vision and also an eye-tracker based Attention Computing technology, following a patent-pending procedure. It fulfils the required documentary and the relevant escalation if needed.

The problem
Achieving consistent quality management can be challenging due to:
- Limited real-time visibility of product quality caused by ineffective or missing communication, indefinite roles and the related documentation.
- Variability in human labor quality affecting consistency.
- High labor costs from redundant quality checks and after-sales complaints.

The solution
MQS QM.AID helps microscope-based quality management operators in four ways:
- Ergonomic and user-friendly digital microscope with excellent and customizable capabilities. (7x – 40x magnification (with the option to halve or double), FullHD or 4k, up to 200 fps)
- The Computer Vision module preselects the parts that need more inspection and shows the operator that needs to be checked.
- By applying Attention Computing, analyzing the gaze data of the operator MQS QM.AID makes sure that all the parts have been carefully checked. Additionally, even drowsiness can be detected. Therefore, using the Attention Benchmark and the Smart Attention Management functions each colleague can be supported to work on an optimal level, meeting the actual performance ability of the operator.
- All is digitized and recorded in the QM.AID FactSheets in our FactBase, which enables transparent and retrievable quality processes with “unlimited” data mining opportunities and also ERP integration options.
